Discovered Check
Discovered check allows you to move your piece wherever you wanted to secure an edge either by capturing a piece or by moving your pieces in a better square. The following position arises from the game Verlinsky-Rabinovich. At first, the queen sacrifice by white 1. Qxc seems unpromising as after RxQ 2. RxR Kb8.. The discovered check cannot capture black’s queen for free. Let’s see what happened.
